Textile Vision Science & Education Foundation urgently launched disaster relief efforts

On December 18, 2023, a 6.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. After the earthquake, batches of emergency rescue forces and relief supplies arrived in the disaster area. Among them, the Textile Vision Science & Education Foundation launched the "Weaving Love Action · Disaster Area Rescue" campaign in the first time, jointly donating emergency supplies to the disaster area with colleagues in the textile and clothing industry and the China Women's Development Foundation.
It is understood that the "Weaving Love Action" project team learned about the disaster situation through local volunteers, the urgent needs of Halal convenient food, warm clothing, hygiene products, medical protective equipment, etc., for the people and families in the disaster area, as well as the financial support needed for post-disaster recovery of production and life. They called on colleagues in the textile and clothing industry to lend a helping hand to help the people in the disaster area overcome difficulties. After the notification was issued, textile and clothing enterprises actively, quickly responded and successively joining the "Weaving Love Action · Disaster Area Rescue" operation.
 
Jeanswest Group: Building a Community with a Shared Future through Practical Actions
Jeanswest, together with brand spokesperson Zhang Ruoyun, has donated tens of thousands of warm materials to the disaster-stricken areas of Qinghai Province through the "Weaving Love Action" of the Textile Light Technology Education Foundation. The caring materials will be sent out one after another and donated to the Qinghai Provincial Women's Federation, delivering timely warmth and care to the disaster-stricken people.
 
Hebei Guoxin Home Textile: Donating 260 beds of flower cotton quilts to disaster areas
Hebei Guoxin Home Textile actively responded to the "Weaving Love Action · Disaster Relief" initiative issued by the Textile Light Technology Education Foundation and the China Household Textile Industry Association and organized a charity donation activity. It is reported that employees of Guoxin Home Textile worked overtime to make 260 pairs of flower cotton quilts and donated them to the disaster-stricken area in Gansu. On December 23rd, a truck loaded with warm and caring cotton quilts set off, heading towards the disaster area on a starry night and delivering it as soon as possible.
 
Aika Technology: Fully supporting emergency relief work with high-tech textiles
Aika Technology actively responded to the Textile Light Technology Education Foundation's "Weaving Love Action" call and donated graphene heating blankets to ensure that people in disaster-stricken areas can resist cold and keep warm. Provide strong support for the livelihoods of disaster-stricken and aid recipients.
 
Primary Technology Selection: Assisting Disaster Relief, "Snacks" in Action
After learning about the lack of emergency food in the disaster area mentioned in the "Weaving Love Action" initiative of the Textile Light Technology Education Foundation, Chuxuan Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. quickly organized the purchase of a batch of emergency snacks and sent them to the disaster area as soon as possible through the Textile Light Foundation.
In addition, employees of the Foundation Secretariat, members of the Second Joint Branch of the Communist Party of China Textile Federation Party Committee, and volunteers from "Textile Vision " responded to the call and spontaneously organized a donation campaign. A total of 5200 yuan was raised this time, with plans to donate it to the Gansu Blue Sky Rescue Team to support earthquake relief work.
